Shannah Weller Crowned Miss Vermont USA 2020 - Kiera Pipeling Miss Teen

Shannah Weller of Essex Junction was crowned Miss Vermont USA 2020 on Sunday, Nov 10, during a ceremony at The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe. Shannah will represent Vermont in the coming Miss USA 2020 pageant which will be held in the next year.

Shannah, currently working as a import specialist at Collins Aerospace. The 23 years old born and raised in Vermont to a youth pastors parents.

 "she was raised in a ministry and outreach environment. From a young age she was taught to work hard, be compassionate, give without looking for reciprocation, and to self analyze, so that Shannah could better understand herself." Pageant Planet wrote on her bio in their website.

The young woman who defeated contestants from across the state  judged in three areas of competition : swimsuit, evening gown and interview.

During the event, Kiera Pipeling was crowned Miss Vermont Teen USA 2020 and she will have the chance to represent Vermont in Miss USA Teen 2020 pageant.

Kiera is a soccer and basketball player at her school in Vermont.
