Hayden Brax, Miss Kansas City was selected as the winner of Miss Kansas USA 2020 on Sunday, Jan 19 during a ceremony at the Performing Arts at Lied Center in University of Kansas in Lawrence.
Hayden will have the chance to represent Kansas for the title of Miss USA 2020 and she is vying for the opportunity to represent USA in the Miss Universe pageant
Hayden wins after competing in three equal phases of preliminary competition: swimsuit, evening gown, and interview.
The 21-year-old Hayden received many prizes and scholarships which includes $5,000 cash and $8,000 per year CLAS scholarship from Central Methodist University according To Miss Kansas USA Site
In addition to Hayden, the other top finishers were :
- First runner up -- Faith Tyrell, Miss Heartland
- Second runner up -- Alexandria Black, Miss Westwood
- Third runner up -- Kristin Bangs, Miss Olathe
- Fourth runner up-- Camila Sacoo, Miss Wichita
During the event, Cyara Heredia, Miss Liberal was crowned Miss Kansas Teen USA 2020 and she will have the chance to represent Kansas in Miss USA Teen 2020 pageant.

Cyara is a student at Seward County Community College. Cyara also has won Miss Kansas Jr. High and Collegiate America Pageant.
Cyara received $2,500 cash award and other many prizes.
