Monique Evans, Miss South Naples was crowned Miss Florida USA 2020 in a ceremony was held on Sunday night, Jan 19 at Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Coral Springs.
She received the opportunity to represent Florida in the Miss USA 2020 competition which will be held in the coming spring. The winner of the Miss USA competition will go on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.
Monique, who beat out 81 other candidates to win the Miss Florida USA crown, is no stranger to the world of pageants. In the Miss America pageant system, she also won the title of Miss Texas while in college and in Miss Florida USA 2018 and 2019 pageants, she finished second runner-up.
The 27 years old Monique holds a degree in Nutrition with a medical certificate from the University of Texas in Austin and currently she's working as a CNS specialty pharmaceutical sales representative at Allergan.
The other top finishers were :
- First runner up -Kirsten Watson, Miss Doctor Phillips
- Second runner up -Heather Lee O'Keefe, Miss Fort Lauderdale
- Third runner up -Taylor Fulford, Miss Okeechobee
- Fourth runner up -Alison Bowles, Miss Weston
During the ceremony, Rylie Spicker of Gainesville was crowned Miss Florida Teen USA 2020 and she will have the chance to represent Kansas in Miss USA Teen 2020 pageant.

- Second runner up, Kaitlyn King, Miss Winter Garden Teen

- Fourth runner up - Gabi Purcell, Miss Odessa Teen
